You've been getting through it.
ONLINE THERAPY & COUNSELLING
Together, we can make sense of what you're carrying and move toward meaningful change.
But getting through it isn't the same as feeling okay.

Maybe you've been noticing…
-
You find yourself overthinking conversations, second-guessing decisions, worrying about what could go wrong, or struggling to slow down without feeling guilty or unproductive.
-
You may feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected, unmotivated, or like you're simply getting through the day. Suddenly, even the small things feel dreadful.
-
You feel misunderstood, disconnected, caught in recurring conflict, or unsure how to move forward.
-
Perhaps you're navigating a breakup, betrayal, loss, family conflict, or another transition that has left you feeling hurt, unsettled, or unsure of what comes next.
-
After years of meeting expectations, keeping the peace, or prioritizing others, you may find it difficult to know what you want, what you need, or how to make space for yourself.
Therapy isn't about having the right words. It's about having a supportive place to start.
A place to be seen, gently untangle what’s been difficult, and move toward growth.
Owner — Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology
Hi, I’m Julie
I work with individuals and couples who are looking to better understand themselves, navigate relationship and life challenges, and move toward lasting change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both insight and practical tools. Together, we can explore the emotions, experiences, and patterns shaping your life while developing new ways of responding to life's challenges.
As a 2nd-generation Vietnamese-Chinese Canadian, I also understand that our lives are shaped by more than our individual experiences alone. Expectations, family relationships, and life experiences can all play a role in how we understand ourselves and navigate the world around us.

Getting Started
-
Feel free to share as much or as little as you'd like by email, or book a free consultation. I'll do my best to respond within 48 hours.
Finding the right therapist is important, and I welcome any questions you may have as you consider whether working together feels like a good fit.
-
We'll have a brief 20-minute conversation about what brings you to therapy, any questions you may have, and what working together might look like. I'll help guide the conversation, and there's no pressure to know exactly what to say.
If it doesn't feel like the right fit, I'm happy to suggest other resources or supports that may be helpful.
-
If you decide to move forward, I'll send intake and consent forms before our first session.
During the first session, I'll help guide the conversation and ask questions along the way, so there's no pressure to know exactly where to start or what to say. Together, we'll explore what's been feeling difficult, discuss relevant aspects of your life and relationships, and talk about what you're hoping for from therapy.
For couples therapy, the initial process may also include an individual session with each partner.
-
Therapy is a collaborative process that evolves over time. Some sessions may focus on understanding longstanding patterns and experiences, while others may be more focused on navigating present challenges or building practical tools.
Together, we'll continue checking in on what's feeling helpful, what's changing, and where you'd like to focus as therapy progresses.
